Our Tailored Engineering Solution
A&D Carbon Solutions carried out a detailed on-site assessment at A&W Agricultural Services to design a solar PV system that would deliver maximum financial and environmental benefit under our Zero-Upfront PPA scheme. Our engineering team completed a full roof analysis, structural review, and electrical assessment to ensure the system would provide long-term, reliable performance for a busy agricultural environment.
Using advanced modelling tools and shading analysis, we designed a bespoke 45 kWp solar PV system that makes full use of the available roof space while maintaining safe access for ongoing operations.

Premium Hardware Selection: 72 × Astronergy Astro N7 bifacial panels paired with a 40 kW inverter for high efficiency and long-term durability.
Electrical Integration: Seamless connection to A&W’s existing infrastructure with minimal changes required to on-site operations.
PPA-Optimised Design: System sized to maximise the savings available under the reduced PPA tariff of 15p per kWh, significantly lower than their previous grid rate of 27p.
Our installation team completed the full system fit-out efficiently and with minimal disruption to A&W’s day-to-day activities. The final system now provides clean, reliable energy — supplying up to 75% of the site’s annual electricity needs while delivering immediate cost savings from day one.
